Poop-tastic!

Leo is back and working his Permaculture magic in the garden again (I am doing the course next month, it's very cool) and so we have been nourishing soil, planting food producing trees and plants and doing all things permaculture-y.

One of those things includes gathering poop (manure) for the garden. As anyone who has made a visit to the garden knows, there are two things that garden road has in great abundance, pot holes and poop! Leo and I (along with Wilbert) went on a adventure to collect some nicely rotted cow dung this week so that we can feed the soil and grow nice big veggies!

Wilbert was not convinced. I think he thought we were going after the fresh gooey ones. He was less skeptical when he saw what the well rotted manure looked like (more like soil and it doesn't really smell either) but he's a good sport and went along with it anyway, even though he probably thought we were a little crazy!

Ahhh.....Brown gold!

Much love from the garden on the golden rock.... x
